Following are some major symptoms of ADHD:

  • Impulsiveness
  • Disorganization and problems prioritizing
  • Poor time management skills
  • Problems focusing on a task
  • Trouble multitasking
  • Excessive activity or restlessness
  • Poor planning
  • Low frustration tolerance
  • Frequent mood swings
  • Problems following through and completing tasks
  • Hot temper
  • Trouble coping with stress

So if you experience some of these symptoms on a regular basis, then, believe me,  I have successfully diagnosed you with ADHD! But don't worry I also have a remedy i.e the book itself.

Facts:
  • In the majority of cases, ADHD goes undetected, especially in India.
  •  Males are almost three times more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD than females.
So after reading this many of you might feel that all these symptoms are very common for almost every Millenial today and yes it is true. So even if you feel you don't have ADHD but you want to be more organized in your life and increase your productivity and get rid of all the distractions that you have then my friend this is definitely a book that you should go for.

About the book

So I grabbed this book because of two main reasons:

  1. Because the cover and the name of the book was very compelling.
  2. And also because i read a few pages of the book and was able to instantly relate to it.
I know never judge a book by its cover, so yes I have made sure that I have read the whole book before reviewing it.

Peter Shankman has never ever treated ADHD as a disease or a mental disorder. Throughout the book, he talks about the hidden potentials of a person with ADHD or ADD(sometimes simply known as Attention Deficit Disorder). You can instantly connect with the daily problems faced by Peter and other people mentioned in this book with those of yours or the people around you. Not only does the author guide you regarding dealing with these situations but he also helps you to develop a routine and habits that work for your ADHD brain. Moreover, the book contains a whole lot of ways in which you can get rid of addictions(not the drug addiction) and procrastination. A person with ADHD is very prone to addictions(anything that gives him dopamine) and is usually a chronic procrastinator. The suggestions, methods or approaches mentioned by the author are productivity boosters thus making this book a very good read for non-ADHD people as well. The author also writes about how an ADHD person can use technology to boost his productivity while most ADHD people are addicted to it. He mentions various applications, softwares, and devices that you can purchase to help you tackle with ADHD, distractions, and procrastination. Though from a student's perspective, I found a few tech hacks/suggestions unfeasible but there is so much to take from the book that you can overlook it. The author also mentions the challenges which ADHD people face in different relationships. You can call this book a complete package for ADHD people to deal with life but even if you are not an ADHD person you would have a good time reading this book as its contents would be applicable in your life as well.

The English is very easy to understand and the author is very precise about everything he has written in the book. So if you are looking for a good book to read or have free time I would recommend this book to you.

Why TVS Apache RTR 2020 series are the most interesting bikes in the 150-200cc segment?

No doubt the Apache 160 4V and its elder sibling Apache 200 4V were the best bikes in the 150-200cc segment from 2018-2019, a perfect combination of fuel-efficient performance sports bike ideal for college-going students.
With the year 2020 approaching TVS are back with their Apache RTR series with some new features which will help them to stand out against their opponents. Honda and Suzuki will have a tough time selling their bikes in this segment i.e Honda CB Hornet and Suzuki Gixxer 160(excluding R15 because it is a performance bike not ideal for city commute ).

The most interesting bike in the Apache RTR series is the elder sibling the Apache RTR 200 4V

What makes this bike stand out are the amazing new features that TVS has added into this machine.

FEATURES

  • The all-new Race Tuned Fuel Injection (RTFI)
  • 1st-in-class RT Slipper Clutch technology & Dual-Channel ABS with RLP
  • Attractive race graphics
  • New LED headlamp with claw position lamps
  • All new aerodynamic claw mirrors
  • Wave bite key
  • High performance radial tyre

The track focused machine boasts of Dual-Channel ABS with RLP (Rear wheel Lift-off Protection) control, an advanced slipper clutch system, and pushes technological boundaries even further with the race telemetry enabled SmartXonnect - a system that provides essential race statistics and riding data. Built to be BS-VI compliant, this race machine wins the race to the future with futuristic technology.

SmartXonnect Technology

The unique system is displayed on the racing console & TVS SmartXonnect app. The cutting-edge Bluetooth enabled system offers up a range of race analytics and data that allows any racer to review their racing style and constantly improve it on the track.

The SmartXonnect is equipped with features that improve the riding experience, be it on the road or the racetrack, numbers are what are going to define the experience.

Well, the SmartXconnect will be my favorite reason to buy this bike but there are many other features in both the 160 and 200 4V bikes which make them worth your money.

The bike is expected to be released in Feb 2020.
